Environmental services

Getting a project approved — and keeping it compliant

We are registered EIA consultants with NREB Sarawak and qualified Environmental Compliance Auditors. That means we can take a development from the assessment that unlocks approval right through to the audits and monitoring reports the authorities require during construction.

Environmental Impact Assessment

Full EIA preparation and submission to NREB — baseline surveys, impact prediction, socioeconomic study and mitigation design. Registered EIA consultants across civil engineering, environmental engineering and socioeconomics.

Environmental Management Plan

EMP and EMG documents prepared for approval by NREB and the relevant authority, setting out the controls, responsibilities and thresholds a contractor must work to on site.

Environmental Monitoring Reports

Monthly and quarterly EMR submissions through the construction period, backed by our own air quality, noise, vibration and water sampling programmes.

Environmental Compliance Audit

Internal and external compliance auditing by NREB-qualified Audit Team Leaders, including quarterly ECAR submissions where the contract requires them.

Erosion & Sediment Control

Site-specific ESCP and earthwork plans with designed silt fences, silt traps, check dams and sediment ponds — not generic details copied between projects.

Monitoring & catchment studies

Air quality, noise level and vibration monitoring; water, wastewater, solid waste and catchment management studies, including reservoir capacity and siltation assessments.

Design that starts with the water

Most of Sarawak's civil engineering problems are hydraulic ones. Our design practice is built around hydrology and hydraulics analysis — which is why our drainage schemes, bridges and protection structures are sized against modelled catchment behaviour rather than rules of thumb.

How we work

4 stages, no surprises

Stage 01

Scoping & feasibility

We establish what the authorities will actually require for your project class, what baseline data exists, and where the real constraints are before any fees are committed.

Stage 02

Survey & analysis

Site survey — including drone mapping where terrain demands it — baseline environmental sampling, catchment modelling and structural analysis.

Stage 03

Design & submission

Drawings, calculations and reports prepared to NREB, DID, JKR and local council standards, with us handling the correspondence until approval is issued.

Stage 04

Construction support

Monthly and quarterly monitoring, compliance auditing, site visits, and design amendments as construction reveals what surveys could not.
